● Good nutrition is essential for optimum mental and physical performance. Carbonated drinks, fast food, sweets, candy, and chewing gum are foods that aren’t supported and so we do not agree to them being sold in our cafeterias. Of course, students are more than welcome to bring their own healthy packed lunch from home.
● Students are mandated to eat their lunch in the designated outdoor areas.
● In order for the cafeteria line to move smoothly and efficiently the students should stand quietly in line, speak clearly when ordering, make all of their purchases at one time, and ensure that their change is correct. Good table manners and etiquette are expected. It is also expected for students to be eat properly, speak quietly, clean the table, and clear anything that may have been spilt accidently.
● For any students using the cafeteria, NGI School provides an individual ID card, which parents can add up with credit, so that students can use it to purchase food items. This card will provide a convenient way of paying and reduce time through the service line of the cafeteria. Moreover, parents can control their children’s purchases as specific items can be banned to certain students at their own discretion. Full transaction details can be available online. Your child will be issued their card at the first week of starting school. Cash can be used until the cards have been issued.
